Outlook store all data items in OST & PST file formats. As per Microsoft wording \u201cAn Outlook Data File (.pst) contains your messages and other Outlook items and is saved on your computer.\u201d<\/p>\n
Here we know how we can import PST file into Outlook. But first, we need to know in which condition we have need to import PST file in Outlook. So let\u2019s know-<\/p>\n
Due to little changes in GUI interface of all Outlook version, I inform here different Outlook version importing PST file methods:-<\/p>\n
*<\/strong> Open MS Outlook and go to File <\/strong>option.<\/p>\n *<\/strong> Select Open & Export<\/strong> and hit on Import\/Export<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n *<\/strong> Now Import\/Export wizard will open here choose Import from another program or file and hit on Next button.<\/p>\n *<\/strong> After that select Outlook Data File (.pst)<\/strong> and go to Next<\/strong>.<\/p>\n *<\/strong> Hit on Browse<\/strong> option to provide the location of imported PST file.<\/p>\n *<\/strong> Form Options<\/strong> section select Do not import duplicates<\/strong> and click on Next.<\/strong><\/p>\n *<\/strong> Now choose Import items into the same folder<\/strong> or import item into the current folder<\/strong> as per your choice. As well as also enable include subfolders<\/strong> checkbox and hit on finish.<\/p>\n
